Latest Bangladeshi situation in front of me

Bangladesh is in threshold of severe political situation. It is well known to all of us. It is since August 5, 2024, the way Prime Minister had to flee to neighbouring India. Truly the phenomenon calls for a deep-rooted interpretation about the current political and social stalemate in Bangladesh. It is more than thirteen months have elapsed. Still the stalemate is persisting which badly crippled the heart and pulse of around 20 crores populaces. Post August 2024 coup, we find that all macro issues seem to have badly dismantled.

What I notice is that since August 8, 2024, despite bountiful promises rendered by Dr Yunus towards the hapless citizens of this dismantled Bangladesh, nothing has yielded so far. I from the Indian city of Kolkata, keeping close track about current turmoil in Bangladesh through my system till 01200am every day. My heart goes deeply towards the innocent and hapless citizens of this rising South Asian nation. The citizens were given bountiful of promises. But off late it has been found that nothing has been done so far. Very pathetic states of affairs.

In this regard, before delving deeply upon my thoughts. I appeal to my online readers to not to interpret my views in its pejorative sense. India and Bangladesh despite having closer cultural and political similarity, the citizens of former nation always possess profound sympathy along with sisterhood and brotherhood upon the citizens of each nation. Though the present crisis has the deep impact of US, Pakistan, China and Russia, but India should lunge forward to bring an end to this current stalemate in Bangladesh. Bengali culture has a wide-ranging recognition across the globe. Due to this stalemate, our pristine heritage and glory have turned to ashes. The students’ coordinators despise towards chanting and playing melodies of Tagore in every household and in public functions have been blatantly criticised. This has taken even the Bengalis of Indian states of West Bengal and Tripura have been deeply shocked at the despicable remarks by the coordinators.

I have happened to utter strong comments about current Bangladesh turmoil, hereby appeal to my online readers of Bangladesh not to interpret my views in a pejorative manner. Same goes to my Indian online readers. I am terribly the way innocent citizens of Bangladesh are so badly heckled and annihilated in such a raucous manner, is not at all called for. Uttering about the positives of Awami League, the citizens of Dhaka and other cities of the nation are put behind the bars. I don’t agree that Awami League workers are rotten. Yes, there were gross anomalies, hence Hasina Madam was forced to be evicted from her coveted seat on August 5, 2024.

The way the interim regime of Dr Mohammad Yunus is delegating their tasks since August 8, 2024, speaks broadly about the derogatory pattern of delegating responsibilities to his team persons. It is understood that Dr Yunus’s team persons are also not at happy now the way he is carrying on his administrative duties. The students and others heaved profound expectations, but after couple of months from 08.08. 2024, the tables have dramatically turned in favour of his opponents. In this regard, we find is that decks are slowly and fast preparing the ground work for Sheikh Hasina and her Bangladesh Awami league to bounce back in a much jubilant manner.

The moot point which is lying in front of me is that when Hasina will take charge of the mantle of the nation. Though my respectable readers of India and Bangladesh, might not gel my views. However, this writer is deeply involved into Bangladeshi affairs, always exploring different ways and means for Bangladesh to bounce back in the mainstream of life. There might be various ways and means inclined in this regard. Among all the ways and means, some of the common ones are stated as follow:

Respect to the citizens.

Torture to Awami activists should come to a grinding halt.

Focusing is badly lacking.

Rapid industrialisation.

Emphasise upon sound law and order situation.

Cohesion and consensus to be initiated among all political parties.

Economic situation to improve further.

Innovation of science and technology.

Now coming to the latest trend in Bangladesh politics I opine that the current interim regime in Bangladesh should be axed immediately. There is no parliament functioning in that nation. Absolutely a haphazard state of affairs prevailing in that nation. The common people of the nation always opine a view that election should be held soon in Bangladesh. Even if the elections are held during the month of February 2026, then political and social confusion will creep further upon both nations badly. Hence it is wise to have Sheikh Hasina till January 2029. Subsequently Indian parliamentary election will be held.

Now India is in deep trouble due to the fomenting of current turmoil in Northern part of the nation. Hence it is my apparent feeling that Modi needs to pull up the socks seriously. If India succumbs to Western pressure, things might turn out to be extremely precarious. That is why global analyst always forecast that India should not follow the suit which Bangladesh had in the year 2024. The Deep state cell under South Block in New Delhi has started their preparation in such a manner that this nation should not fall prey to Bangladeshi episode of the year 2024 on August 5.

Pity part to be noted is that if India does not maintain pleasant relation with Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka then situation might turn out to worsen further. The entire South Asian Sub-Continent should be under and cool ambience. During this span of year and one month, it is found that the entire backbone of Bangladesh has been crumpled into lakhs and lakhs of pieces along with granules. Retrieving the glorious phase of the nation, remains a big question mark. The way Metro Railways have been destroyed and grinded into pieces, remains a big question mark in front of the citizens of both India and Bangladesh. From my system, I get a clear picture that Yunus and his gong have dismantled the nation in such a manner that under Indian and foreign support the nation will make a big turnaround. Otherwise, it will be a tough proposition.

I am regularly in touch with Dhaka, the citizens of the nation opine, that they want parliamentary election should be held soon. Whereas there are quite a good number of citizens who still favour Awami League to be in the forefront of Bangladesh politics. Sheikh Hasina till date carries such a prolific image around international political arena. Same way her daughter Putul carries. Hence, I feel Hasina should be brought back once again. Sheikh Hasina is still the legal Prime Minister of Bangladesh. This is as per the version of Barrister Nijhoom Majumder. Even if the election is held during the month of February, that might be a biggest disaster for the nation. Also, the chance of Bangladesh Awami League to bounce back will dilute further. Hence new interim government should carry on the country’s administration for two to four more years soon. Later on after holding elections, newly elected parliament will assume charge under a democratically political party.

Finally, what is surfacing in my mind that new caretaker government might take charge of this dilapidated nation of thirteen months. Most likely Brigadier (Retired) Dr Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain might be in charge with this coveted task. It is expected to shape up soon. However, Barrister Nijhoom Majumder might perform this herculean task behind axing this Yunus gong.
