Bangladesh is in the cusp of severe
political and social turmoil. This was
evident long time back, but the way Dr Yunus was hoodwinking to local citizens
as well as to international communities. Like me there are many in India, who
were sanguine that there will be no election, which has bear fruit.
In the midst of Interim Regime since
August 5, 2024, till Bangladesh as a nation lost its halcyon glory which they
had during the regime of Sheikh Hasina as Prime Minister. Later on, meaning
post August 5 and August 8, 2024, the situation at present has absolutely
crumpled into pieces and till date this rising South Asian nation does not seem
to have any vision and prospect to rise up further. How could this rising South
Asian nation will retrieve from the
current turmoil to a state of success and prosperity.
From the philosophical if I analyze
the situation as such. That if we want build up a foundation it is found out to
be cumbersome, contrarily in case of destruction we find it is easily done and
the ways to bouncing back is too tough for this smaller but rising South Asian
nation. The civil societies of Bangladesh at present are in a state of utter phobia
and in confused mass about what to be done and what not to be done. Independence
of the people as well as that of creative faculties are in dilution states of
affairs.
This writer, being an Indian National
by birth, do have tremendous penchant for Bangladesh. Like me, there are many
other Bengalis from India, express deep worries about the prevailing
situations. My respected online readers of Bangladesh as well as that of India,
should not comprehend my views in its pejorative manner. My aim is to pray at
The Altar of The Superpower that this rising nation should bounce back fast to
work jointly with neighboring India for development work on various projects.
My goal is that to introspect on how
Bangladesh should bounce back within the forefront of South Asian politics. There
might be various options involved in regard to the nation’s bouncing back fast.
Already the tenure of the interim regime might around fifteen long months. Pity
part to be noted is that when do we expect the tyrannical Yunus regime to be
axed from Bangladesh. First off, all there is no proper governance being
carried on in that nation. Parliament is not functioning along with. Post coup
analysis is going on in its fullest momentum. What is the result of this
analysis? July declaration has been signed and made it publicized to the
nation. The document was signed by all political parties, excepting NCP.
Post signing phase of July
declaration of the year 2024 sparked off multiple accusations upon the Interim
Regime under Dr Mohammad Yunus as chief adviser. Nearly most of them have
started raging tirade against Interim Regime stating that Dr Yunus has
hoodwinked all of them who was very much involved intensively during July
Movement of the year 2024.
Now Yunus government is under intense
pressure. Not in a proper frame of mind in which direction to move ahead and in
which direction not to move at all. In which direction should move ahead.
There might be various directions by
which Bangladesh should move ahead. Among all the directions, some of the
common ones are stated as follow:
Post coup of the year 2024 has been a
deleterious one.
Law and order situation has been a
deadly one.
Control in governance has no
relevance.
Economy of the nation has been
covered under the debris.
Citizens of the nation are in a state
of utmost bewilderment.
Bangladesh is now badly grappled with
political extremism and fragile economy.
Dr Mohammad Yunus till date has lost
all his focusing ability.
There lies no safety for the common
citizens of the nation.
The concept of Bengali nationalism
and secular bent of mind has been covered under the debris.
The country is under severe
authoritarian ruling.
So far, I have highlighted the basic
problems which Bangladesh is facing at present. But the moot point which
strikes my mind has been stated as follow:
All political parties should be
united one banner.
Inclusive and fully participatory
election should be made mandatory.
Civil societies should be included in
the sphere of conducting free and exclusive election in order to steer the
nation from a state of utter doldrums to a state of utmost prosperity. Whenever
we compare current Bangladesh situation that of Sri Lanka and Nepal, then one
thought arises upon our mind that the mental grooming of Sri Lankan and Nepalese
citizens are of a stark contrasting nature. Bangladesh has various talented
human capitals but why till date this political and social turmoil is
persisting. There are no proper answer and evaluation in our mind. Thus, human
capitals are not properly utilized.
Inflationary trend at present in
Bangladesh is around 8.50% as against a nominal GDP of $ 475 billion. This is
expected to be the latest of the current year 2025. In comparison to
Bangladesh, Indian GDP stands at approximately $3.94 trillion. The latest
economic trend in Bangladesh stands as such that there are no hopes and
aspirations from economic angle. Younger generations are terribly frustrated.
Those getting the opportunity to overseas destinations are leaving instantly
without a trace of delay. As per the data available regarding the menace of
unemployment available with this writer, we find is around 4.7%. Among the
educated class is around 14%. Very
shocking state of affairs Bangladesh is having at present. Out of the total
population it is estimated to be around 50% of the total population.
Change is imminent in our mind. Any
moment the tyrannical regime of Yunus might be crushed under the debris. In
this regard, the role of Bangladesh Army should be treated as paramount
importance. So long the job of the Bangladesh Army along with other two Defense
Ministry wings like Navy and Air Forces have been absolutely knavish. The role
of United Nation Security Council should be beefed up immediately without a
minute deeply. Also, the role of The Indian Army is equally relevant along with
Deep State of the government of India which falls under South Block.
